New year resolution
Do you have a new year resolution? Many people do. Unfortunately, once a couple of months have passed, they forget about their resolutions. Then they wait until the next year to reset that resolution again. In other words, they really never get anywhere.
I don't like new year resolutions. That said, I do like having goals. Once I have set a goal, I identify small steps or ways to achieve that goal. Everything I do should take me closer to the end goal. To ensure that your goal is achievable, you need to make sure that the goal is realistic, and is within your resources to achieve it. It also helps to establish a plan with action steps and realistic timelines for that goal. Check in with yourself every now and then to see your progress. Celebrate small successes. Before you know it, you would have achieved your goal, and it will be time to set a new one.
