Learn how to free yourself from anxieties with these 8 easy steps

Have you ever had to make a very important presentation, and you feel very anxious about it? Anxiety affects your performance. The more you are stressed about it, the more it will affect you negatively.

Next time, when you are faced with an important situation (e.g. presentation, exam, competition, speech, etc.) and you are feeling anxious, take the following steps:

1. Find a peaceful or quiet corner so that you are by yourself.

2. Take a few deep breathes to allow more oxygen into your body.

3. Think back at a time or a situation when you felt like you had total confidence.

4. Notice how you looked, felt, what you posture was like, and where you were feeling the confidence in your body.

5. Allow yourself to reconnect with that confident feeling in your past.

6. Recall and make note of the elements or contributing factors to that confidence.

7. Identify steps to recreate those elements for your current situation.

8. Commit to taking the actions needed so that you feel confident again

Finally, believe in yourself.
